Toy Society
Toy Society is a streetwear brand established in 2004 that has evolved through several distinct creative directions. These are some of my favorite designs from the brand, showcasing a range of concepts, illustration styles, and graphic approaches.
World Tour
Toy Society let me explore a grittier, harder-edged side of my visual style. With this design, I layered typography, skulls, roses, machinery, pinup imagery, and other contrasting elements into a dense composition designed to hit immediately while still revealing new details the longer you look.
Fangs &Thorns
I really had fun with the typography on this one. The concept started forming in my head long before I actually created it—I first imagined the textures: polished wood, snakeskin, black roses, and thorns. From there, the composition grew into something bold, layered, and unapologetically rock ’n’ roll.
Fire on the Mic
There was a definite theme running through this group of designs. I was channeling some pent-up energy into a grittier, more rebellious visual language, while still looking for beauty within the chaos. Texture, contrast, and opposing elements became part of the vocabulary—and this piece is a good example of where that exploration led.
