The Walking Dead (Season 2)
Cinematic poster design has always been one of my favorite forms of visual storytelling. I love the challenge of distilling a whole story, with its characters, mood, tension, and emotion, into one compelling image. This personal piece was inspired by Season 2 of The Walking Dead. It’s one of my all-time favorite seasons of the series, and it allowed me the chance to interpret its atmosphere and drama through my own cinematic composition.
80th Academy Awards
My passion for movies inspired this personal concept, imagining a collaboration between AMC Theatres and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS). I chose the 80th Academy Awards because the 2007 Best Picture field remains, in my opinion, one of the strongest collections of nominees in recent memory. The poster allowed me to bring those films together in a single cinematic composition while exploring the grandeur and visual language associated with the Oscars.

This is a piece I worked on intermittently for over 10 years. When I finally resumed work on it for the last time, I realized I didn’t want to finish it in the usual clean manner. So I made the decision to add brushstrokes for texture and connected the black areas to give the piece a looser, painterly quality.
RIPLEY
For this piece, my love of movies and pinup art came together. Ripley became the first in a series of illustrations inspired by the strong, iconic heroines of action and science-fiction films, reinterpreted through my own poster and pinup aesthetic.
